About Collin and Colleen
Born and raised on the Main Line, Collin and Colleen bring over 20 years of combined experience in development and construction to their endeavors. Collin has overseen nearly $750 million in construction projects throughout the Philadelphia region, earning a reputation for honesty, dedication, and resilience in the face of adversity. In an industry where thick skin is essential, Collin’s perseverance and hard work have consistently prevailed.
In 2018, Collin and Colleen garnered attention from the Philadelphia Inquirer following the completion of a remarkable three-story addition and whole-house renovation to their Arts + Crafts-style home in downtown Wayne. Their hands-on involvement, with Collin as General Contractor and Colleen managing design and finish selections, showcased their dedication to craftsmanship and attention to detail. Inspired by this transformative experience, Collin and Colleen launched Poplar Construction + Design, focusing on crafting bespoke single-family homes, breathtaking renovations, and luxurious additions.
Their design services encompass architectural mastery, unparalleled guidance with finish selections, and meticulous space coordination that transcends mere functionality to achieve true elegance and harmony, seamlessly integrating every element of a project.
Additionally, Collin serves on the Radnor Township Design Review board, where he contributes his expertise to reviewing applications for signage, commercial construction, and façade renovations. Colleen, on the other hand, is an active member of the local swim club board at Martin’s Dam. As the social chair, she orchestrates everything from children’s camp activities to the fan-favorite water ballet show, infusing joy and community spirit into every event.
Collin and Colleen also hold PA real estate licenses with Compass. Colleen, leveraging her design background, provides post-construction design consultations and is a certified home staging virtuoso, turning every space into a captivating showcase of style and sophistication.
Beyond their professional pursuits, Collin and Colleen relish early mornings at Tribe Fitness Main Line, culinary adventures, music, travel, and cherished family moments. They are both avid supporters of community enrichment and active members of various philanthropic endeavors.
Collin and Colleen, along with their daughters Aislyn and Adelyn, call Wayne home and cherish frequent retreats to their coastal oasis on the West Coast of Florida, where they find inspiration amidst the serenity of sun-kissed shores and azure waters.
